SKILLS
What I do
I help prioritize problems and solve them using design.
UX — A user’s entire journey to solving a particular problem, and the feeling of that experience.
UI — The solution’s interfaces, look, and function.
Let me walk you through some of my thinking…
ABOUT
Experience
My brain likes to analyze and build interlocking elements that, when combined just right, create a compelling experience. I spent several years using this skill to design toys and games. As a by-product, I’m always injecting fun into the stuff I do!
But I made the switch to digital product design to create more value for more people.
I honed my knowledge of UX mapping, KPIs, UI patterns, and Design Systems by working for start-ups. I pulled from product and design frameworks to develop my playbook for digging into a challenge (heavily inspired by IDEO design thinking, Google Sprints, & GIST).
Though I spend most of my time in Figma, I’ve also been studying HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. It’s important to me to know my medium and “mind the gap” in my knowledge of engineering.
If you need an energetic designer for your team, say the word and I’m there!

(juh nuh say kwah) : something (such as an appealing quality) that cannot be adequately described
Rachel’s strength is her ability to conceptualize on the wider experience rather than just one specific aspect at a time. She comes to the table with creative ideas, strong ability to communicate her design choices, and drive to contribute to the team.
